Today Epson launches four new ColorWorks label printers, the ColorWorks CW-C6000Ae, CW-C6000Pe, CW-C6500Ae and CW-C6500Pe.
These label printers extend Epson's existing range to meet the needs of small and medium-sized customer groups in several sectors (food, chemicals, beverages, garden, logistics, etc.). The range includes automatic cutting models (Ae) and models with time-saving automatic peeler functions (Pe), which automatically remove the backing on the label and can be perfectly integrated into existing print-and-apply production lines.
All products support a range of shapes, materials and label sizes: the CW-C6000Ae and CW-C6000Pe support media widths from 25.4mm to 112mm, and the CW-C6500Ae and CW-C6500Pe support widths from 25.4mm to 215.9mm.
In practical terms, this means these ColorWorks label printers can print everything from small labels for e-cigarette bottles to large, durable labels suitable for chemical drums.
This media flexibility and digital 4-color printing on demand (even with small label sizes) makes life easier for time-sensitive businesses with many SKUs to manage.

To summarise, the ColorWorks CW-C6000Ae, CW-C6000Pe, CW-C6500Ae and CW-C6500Pe have the following new and different features:

- Compact and user-friendly: All operation is performed from the front, saving operating space. Roll change is possible from the front and from the right and left.
- High resolution with colour adjustment: good print quality, use of ICC profiles in driver and staff colour management
- Print stickers in all possible shapes: thanks to the removable sensor. No need for another die-cut.
- Easy integration: direct SAP support, ESC sticker, Linux and Mac drivers
- Saves money: no need to stock pre-printed stickers. Print in full color on blank labels
- Integration: Models with peeler functionality (Pe) fit perfectly into production lines
- Remote management and maintenance: Available via web interface
