• DuPont™ Tyvek® is a brilliantly white, spun-bonded polyethylene material that maintains its high tear resistance—even when wet or scratched. This low-cost print media is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Tyvek® EXPO combines a low surface weight with relatively high material strength, making it an exceptionally light and strong print medium. In addition to classic applications such as pop-up displays and banners, Tyvek® EXPO can also be used for carrying bags and race bibs. It resembles paper and has a one-sided matte white inkjet coating that enables high-resolution and color-intensive prints. When printed with pigmented water-based ink or EcoSolvent ink, it becomes water-resistant and suitable for outdoor use for up to 6 months. For optimal water resistance, the print should rest for 24 hours before further processing. When printed with full coverage, the structural properties characteristic of DuPont™ Tyvek® are highlighted. Additionally, the product can be folded without significantly affecting its surface properties.
