• DuPont™ Tyvek® is a brilliantly white, spun-bonded polyethylene material that maintains its high tear strength—even when wet or scratched. This low-cost print medium is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Tyvek® EXPO combines a low surface weight with relatively high material strength, making it a particularly lightweight and strong print medium. In addition to classic applications like pop-up displays and banners, Tyvek® EXPO can also be used for tote bags and race bibs. It resembles paper and has a one-sided matte white inkjet coating, allowing for high-resolution and color-intense prints. When printed with pigmented water-based ink or EcoSolvent ink, it becomes water-resistant and suitable for outdoor use for up to 6 months. For optimal water resistance, prints should rest for 24 hours before further processing. With full-surface printing, the structural properties characteristic of DuPont™ Tyvek® are emphasized. The product can also be folded without significant surface degradation.
